On May 7, 2017, the award ceremony of 2017 Joint Relay Event of Run and Shot of Sun Yat-sen University and 2016 "Kangle Cup" Students' Top Ten Sporting Events Total Points was held in south campus of Guangzhou campus. The ceremony was hosted by Sports Committee of Sun Yat-sen University, undertook by School Sports Department, Student Affairs of Party Committee, and School League Committee, Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University Li Mengfeng, Student Affairs Director Mo Hua and other leaders and representatives of Departments attended the ceremony. Our School won the first prize of 2016 "Kangle Cup" Students' Top Ten Sporting Events Team Total Points.

??"Kangle Cup" is the Brand Sporting Event of our school, its main goal is to serve for constructing the first-class campus sports culture of Sun Yat-sen University and talent training, making sports events as a medium, during the process of constructing first-class campus sports culture, effectively promotes the Department's communication in each campus, so that more students can participate in extracurricular sports activities and competitions, and effectively improves the physical fitness of students. ??
??In order to carry out 13th Five-Year Sports Development Plan of Sun Yat-sen University, cooperate with the school to build first-class campus sports culture, give full play to the unique and important role of sports in talent training, and enhance the enthusiasm of students to participate in sports, our School smoothly carried out the sports work in the past year. Looking back the past year, students of Business School have fruitful achievements in the sports court - our School's Delegation got a second of total points in 2016 School Sports of Sun Yat-sen University; Dragon Boat Team won the champion of men's team in 2016 Department Competition of Dragon Boat of Sun Yat-sen University and realized the breakthrough of getting no awards; In the Badminton Competition, students of Business School won the top four of "Kangle cup" of Departments Competition of four campuses and the third winner of East Campus's Departments; In the Basketball Competition, won the fourth winner of "Freshman Cup"; In the "Kangle Cup" Volleyball Competition, won the top eight of men's team; Football Team won the top eight of "Kangle Cup" Football Competition; Our School's Table Tennis Team won the runner-up of East Campus in Departments' championship and the fifth place in parallel of Department Competition of four campuses... achieving good results in all kinds of sports competition, blooming vitality, and showing youth style. ??
