From July 15 to 30, the program brings together 46 outstanding students from China, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, Australia, Singapore, India, and other countries. Participants come from leading universities including the University of Cambridge, The Australian National University, the National University of Singapore, EBS University of Business and Law (Germany), KEDGE Business School (France), Sun Yat-sen University, University of Hong Kong and other universities across the Greater Bay Area. Representing diverse disciplines such as business, engineering, humanities, and social sciences, students are organized into multicultural teams for collaborative learning.
Focusing on frontier fields including artificial intelligence, advanced manufacturing, new energy, and new matierial, the program is built around real-world business challenges provided by Mingyang Smart Energy Group. Through keynote lectures, enterprise visits, project-based learning, team discussions, and innovation challenges, participants work across disciplines and cultures to develop practical solutions to real business problems.
The opening ceremony was held on July 15 at Sun Yat-sen University's Guangzhou South Campus. Professor Li Weiwen, Associate Dean of the School of Business, welcomed participants and expressed appreciation to the Guoqiang Foundation and Mingyang Smart Energy Group for their strong support of the School's international talent development initiatives. He also highlighted the School's commitment to cultivating globally minded, innovative, and socially responsible business leaders by integrating management education with technological innovation and expanding international collaboration.

The ceremony also featured introductions by the program's nine multicultural project teams and speeches from student representatives from Sun Yat-sen University and University of Cambridge, reflecting the program's spirit of openness, collaboration, and mutual learning.

During the two-week program, participants will visit major innovation hubs across the Greater Bay Area, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhongshan, Foshan, and Yangjiang, as well as leading enterprises such as Mingyang Smart Energy, Insta360, XPENG AEROHT, Country Garden, and Haitian Flavoring & Food. The program will conclude with a final pitch, where student teams will present innovative solutions to a panel of academic and industry experts.

By combining global collaboration with real industrial challenges, the program provides an exceptional platform for students to deepen their understanding of China's innovation ecosystem, strengthen their global competence, and contribute to the internationalization of talent cultivation at Sun Yat-sen University.
