Excellent! "Financial Management" of the School of Business is recognized as A First-class Undergraduate Course of Sun Yat-sen University in 2022

Recently, Sun Yat-Sen University announced the list of first-class undergraduate courses in 2022. The "Financial Management" led by Professor Chen Yugang of the School of Business was recognized as the first-class undergraduate course (offline) of Sun Yat-sen University in 2022.

"Financial Management" has always been a professional core course of the School of Business, with high difficulty. After more than ten years of construction and development, the management of the teaching team has become more and more refined. The course has been supported by projects such as Excellent Course Construction in Guangdong Province, Resource Sharing Course Construction in Guangdong Province, and Team Building of Financial Management, etc. At present, the course leader is Professor Chen Yugang, and the course team members include Professor Liu Eping, Professor Gu Naikang, Associate Professor Gong Kaisong and Assistant Professor Zhou Qian, who have formed an echelon of senior, middle-aged and young people and a bilingual teaching mode, which has realized the unification of four aspects - textbooks, syllabuses, courseware, and final exams, and implemented the assessment mode of “separation of teaching and examination”.

With the development of artificial intelligence, big data, mobile Internet and cloud computing, financial management is increasingly integrated with FinTech. Professor Chen Yugang is leading the course team to integrate FinTech into the latest teaching content, continue to update and improve the course, further build top faculty, course and laboratory, and build domestic first-class financial management teaching and research base, realizing the transformation of course from "faculty-based teaching" to "student's active learning under faculty's guidance", from "classroom teaching" to "laboratory teaching", creating a "CAS" (Course+Aid+Scenario) course system.
