Our School Successfully Held the 2021 Sports Meeting for Faculties and Students
On October 24th, the 2021 sports meeting for faculties and students of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was successfully held.
Xie Manhua - Secretary of the Party Committee, Zhou Jing - Deputy Secretary, program faculties, research fellows and postdoctoral researchers, faculties from various administrative offices and students of the school gathered together for competition.
On the morning of 24th, the sky was clear with refreshing autumn breeze. The sports meeting for faculties and students kicked off on the fake grass football field of the East Campus of the Guangzhou campus.
First of all, Secretary Xie Manhua delivered an opening speech. She hoped that faculties and students would develop good exercise habits and make it a life-long habit, and wished the games a complete success.
Then, the referee representative Lu Ailin and the athlete representative Wu Kaiming took the oath respectively.
Secretary Xie Manhua announced the official start of the 2021 sports meeting for faculties and students of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. Two graduate representatives led the faculties and students to warm up. The games consisted of the fun games for faculties-students and the school games trials, which were held at the same time.
Fun games for faculties-students
At the beginning of the competition, both two sides quickly threw themselves into it and showed their heroic postures. During the competition, faculties and students became team members and partners, supported and encouraged each other, discussed countermeasures and communicated in-depth, which enhanced the friendship between them in the competition. The competition is not only competitive, but also interesting, with laughter echoing on the field.
School games trials
The school games trials consist of field and track competitions. With bold fighting spirit, the athletes fight hard, which shows the tenacious sportsmanship of our faculties and students.
The sports meeting fully aroused the enthusiasm of students for physical exercise, demonstrated the spirit of unity and tenacious of our faculties and students, and created a positive, healthy and civilized campus culture atmosphere.
