The 2020 MBA Annual Forum of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and the Awards and Appointment Ceremony of the Off-campus Supervisors Were Successfully Held
On January 10th, 2021, the 2020 MBA Annual Forum of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and the Awards and Appointment Ceremony of the Off-campus Supervisors were held in the International Conference Hall of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University.
First of all, Secretary Xie Manhua from the Party Committee of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered an opening speech. She welcomed and thanked the experts and scholars who attended this event, and hoped that all faculties can fully communicate and provide suggestions in this event for the construction of off-campus supervisor system and the development of the school.
Researcher Wu Jing - Deputy Director of the China Health Education Center and member of the National Expert Group on COVID-19, gave a speech on "Implementing the Healthy China Strategy and Promoting the Healthy China Action". Liu Bo - the founder and CEO of Dashu Finance, gave a speech on "Lending Assistance Boosts Financial Supply-side Reform".
In the afternoon, two roundtable dialogues were held on the themes "High-quality Development Building a New Pattern of Health Management" and "FinTech Development Trends and Talent Cultivation".
Seven guests including Chen Qi - Vice President of General Practitioners Sub-association of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, Director of Industry Research Department of China Health Industry Investment Fund Co., Ltd., Liao Xinbo - former department Counsel of Health Commission of Guangdong Province, Yao Lin - Vice President of the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University, National Advanced Individual in Fighting COVID-19, MBA alumnus of the School of Business enrolled in Spring 2007, Dr. Shi Shaobin - Chairman of Guangdong Beiying Fund Management Co., Ltd., MBA alumnus of the School of Business enrolled in 1998, Professor Jin Shiming - Executive Vice President of Guangdong Provincial Association of Chinese Medicine, Cheng Zhen - Vice President of Guangzhou Pharmaceutical Holdings Limited (GPHL), and Shao Yuan - Chairman of Shenzhen Annet Information System Co., Ltd., shared on topics such as "the role of innovation in healthy China", "how to understand innovation from the demand side in digital age", and "how to meet the health needs of consumers or patients", etc.
Professor Zheng Zibin - Associate Dean of the School of Software Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University, Director of the InPlusLab, Dr. Cui Xiuhong - Vice President of Wanlian Securities Co., Ltd., Dr. Li Jie - Director of Guangdong Provincial Local Financial Risk Monitoring and Control Center, Dr. Zou Jun - General Manager of Blockchain Express Co., Ltd., and Zhang Weifeng - General Manager of Guangdong UTrust Financial Cloud Technology Co., Ltd., participated in the roundtable discussion. The guests expressed their views on topics of concern to all walks of life and students, such as the "changes of FinTech to the financial industry" and "whether artificial intelligence will replace human beings".
Finally, Professor Liu Jingyan - Associate Dean of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a closing speech. She pointed out that off-campus supervisors are valuable resources for the School of Business, and encouraged them to participate more deeply in all aspects of professional master cultivation and career development, so as to play a greater role through further exchanges and interactions.
