Our School Once Again Was Awarded as A-level Member Unit of the Accreditation for Accounting Professional Education Quality (AAPEQ)
Recently, China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee announced the results maintenance of AAPEQ (Accreditation for Accounting Professional Education Quality) for 6 units including Sun Yat-sen University. After becoming the first batch of AAPEQ accredited A-level member units in 2015, our university once again obtained the accreditation conclusion of the highest level A-level, valid for 5 years.
From October 26th to November 11th, 2020, China National MPAcc Education Steering Committee organized the online evaluation of AAPEQ accreditation, listened to the report on the work development of AAPEQ accreditation of our university in the form of video conference on November 26th, and had discussions with the faculties, students and representatives of graduates of the School of Business.
The School of Business, Sun Yat-Sen University is the first batch of pilot colleges and universities in China for the master's degree in accounting and the first batch of A-level member units accredited by AAPEQ. After years of experience, Sun Yat-sen University’s MPAcc program has established a mature system of "IP" talent cultivation for Masters of Accounting, including 4 dimensions, such as Integration & Profession, Innovation & Practice, Integrity & Passion, and Influence & Power, and has cultivated a large number of outstanding accounting professionals.
