Pursue Dreams with One Heart and Create Brilliance Together - The 35th Anniversary Celebration and New Year Party of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University Was Successfully Held

On the evening of December 26th, 2020, the 35th Anniversary Celebration and New Year Party of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was successfully held in Liang Qiuju Hall, South Campus, Guangzhou Campus of Sun Yat-Sen University.

First of all, Professor Li Shanmin - Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University delivered a speech. On behalf of the university, he expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the School of Business, sincere greetings to the faculties, students and staff of the School of Business, welcomed the guests inside and outside the school who participated in tonight's event, and expressed gratitude to the friendly people from all walks of life who have always supported the development of the school. He hoped that the School of Business will continue to uphold the spirit of hard work, unity and progress, innovation and change, remain true to our original aspiration, keep our mission firmly in mind, gather our spirit and strength, one heart and mind, take root in China, and continue to contribute to the construction of "Double First-Class".

Then, Professor Wang Fan - Assistant President of Sun Yat-sen University and Dean of the School of Business delivered a speech. He expressed his gratitude to the leaders, guests, faculties and students who participated in the party. He hoped that the faculty and students of the school will work together in pursuit of excellence, continue to lead the discipline of Business Administration in China, tell the Chinese stories well, and contribute Chinese wisdom to the theory, method and practice of business administration all over the world.

Subsequently, the opening ceremony of the History Museum of the School of Business, Sun Yat-Sen University began. The former deans and secretaries of the School of Business and representatives of the donating alumni turned the key together and opened the gate of the History Museum, which marked the official launch of the History Museum of Sun Yat-sen University.

Two children brought the opening song "Happy Birthday", and the party kicked off with cheerful birthday songs.

With the theme of "Pursue Dreams with One Heart and Create Brilliance Together", the party depicted the history of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University from its establishment to its flourishing development. From 1985 to 2020, the School of Business has experienced ups and downs in the past 35 years. Looking forward to the future, the school will continue to write new and brilliant chapters. We wish the School of Business even more brilliant, and wish the students of the school be dedicated, act prudently and create brilliant together in the years to come!
