The 2020 Annual Exchange Meeting of the Key Project Group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Research on Major Theoretical and Practical Issues of Marketing in the Context of Economic Transition" Was Successfully Held
Recently, the Annual Exchange Meeting of the Key Project Group of the National Natural Science Foundation of China "Research on Major Theoretical and Practical Issues of Marketing in the Context of Economic Transition" was successfully held in the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. This meeting was hosted by the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China, and organized by Sun Yat-sen University.
Liu Zuoyi - Deputy Director of the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China, gave a speech. He introduced the background and significance of approving the key project group of "Research on Major Theoretical and Practical Issues of Marketing in the Context of Economic Transition" and the purpose of this meeting. He hoped each project research team will closely follow the needs of the national development strategy, focus on theoretical contributions, strengthen open cooperation, and complete the project with high quality, and expressed gratitude to Sun Yat-sen University for the preparations for this meeting.
Professor Wang Fan - Assistant President of Sun Yat-sen University and Dean of the School of Business, delivered a welcome speech. He introduced the teaching and research achievements of the School of Business in recent years. He said that the university and the school will strongly support the work of the project group to ensure the project research activities carry out smoothly.
Professor Jia Jianmin from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) and Professor Ye Qiang from the School of Management, Harbin Institute of Technology presided over the project update meeting. Professor Liu Yi from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Fan Xiucheng from Fudan University, Professor Zeng Fu'e from Wuhan University, Professor Teng Lefa from Jiangnan University, Professor Wang Haizhong and Associate Professor Liang Jianping from Sun Yat-sen University, respectively reported the research content, latest research progress, and achievements of the key projects, and put forward the next work plan.
At the meeting, the mentoring panel members of the project group put forward questions and suggestions, and comprehensively evaluated the implementation of each project.
The participating experts of the project group conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the opinions put forward by the leaders of the NSFC and the panel, as well as the focus of the next work plan. Each project team analyzed the characteristics and difficulties of the summary problems from their respective advantageous fields, and reached a consensus on the key directions of the project group. Wu Gang - Director of the Second Division of the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China, hoped that the key project group can give play to their respective advantages, get rid of the constraint of paper-centric, break through the theoretical bottleneck that is difficult to complete in general youth projects, and contribute more theoretical guidance for the development of Chinese enterprises.
