Quarterly Journal of Management Editor Forum - "Dialogue with Editors of Top Journal: Research and Publication of Chinese Management in the New Era" was Successfully Held

On the morning of October 11th, the Quarterly Journal of Management Editor Forum - "Dialogue with Editors of Top Journal: Research and Publication of Chinese Management in the New Era" was successfully held online.

Wang Fan - Dean of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University gave a speech. He welcomed the presence of experts and scholars on behalf of the conference organizer, and elaborated on the significance of the forum. He expressed his concern that China's business administration and enterprise research are the future development direction of the quarterly, and believed that the quarterly will achieve greater success with the joint support of the school and academia.

Then, Professor Zhang Yuli, Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly Journal of Management, gave a speech. He introduced the famous column of the journal, and pointed out that this forum is a good opportunity to explore how future Chinese management research can better serve and promote social development. The journal was selected into the Federation of Management Societies of China in August 2020, which means the quarterly journal is highly recognized by academic colleagues, and also a responsibility. We will continue to adhere to the value system of the quarterly journal and make greater contributions to the academic community.

Then followed was the Panel Discussion section of the Journal. Professor Chi Tailan - Field Editor of the Journal of International Business, Professor Li Yong - Associate Editor of the Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Professor Wang Heli - Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Review, Professor Yao Yongyi - Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Journal, Associate Professor Zhao Minyuan - Associate Editor of the Strategic Management Journal, Professor Bai Changhong - Editor-in-Chief of the Nankai Business Review, Professor Qiao Han - Associate Editor of the Management Review, Li Zhijun - President of the Management World, Professor Zhang Wei - Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Management Sciences in China and Professor Jing Runtian - Editor-in-Chief of the Quarterly Journal of Management, respectively elaborated on the thinking on the theoretical contribution of China's local management research, the problems and challenges in the research of Chinese enterprises management practice, the journal's review considerations for China's situation research, suggestions to the intended contributors, and the status of journal submission, etc. They also patiently and meticulously answered the questions of the participating scholars in the broadcast room.
