Professor Li Shanmin of Our School Won the "Business Development Research Achievement Award in 2019" by the Ministry of Commerce of the PRC
Recently, professor Li Shanmin of the School of Business - Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University served as editor in chief, and professor Mao Yanhua, Fu Zhengping and Lin Jiang as associate editors, the Blue Book on the Development of China's Pilot Free Trade Zone (2017-2018) published by Sun Yat-sen University Press won the excellent award in writing category in the "Business Development Research Achievement Award in 2019" selected by the Ministry of Commerce in 2019.
The blue book is divided into three parts: general, special topics and regional chapters. The general part emphasizes that institutional innovation is the original intention of the pilot free trade zone construction, reviews the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the pilot free trade zone, summarizes the practical confusion faced by the pilot free trade zone on institutional innovation, and puts forward the breakthrough points of future institutional innovation. The special topics select "Free Trade Port with Chinese Characteristics", "the Belt and Road", "Trade Facilitation Reform", "Transformation of Government Functions", "Internationalization of Financial Market", "International Commercial Arbitration" and other dimensions to analyze and study the institutional innovation and development direction of the pilot free trade zone. The regional chapter mainly focuses on the construction of the pilot free trade zone in the past year, combined with their respective missions and characteristics, analyzes the existing problems, and proposes the direction of deepening reform.
