"The Second Conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and FinTech" Ended Successfully

On December 22, 2019, "The Second Conference on Big Data, Artificial Intelligence and Fintech" hosted by the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was held in the Shansi Hall International Conference Hall of the School of Business.

Professor Li Shanmin - Vice President of Sun Yat-sen University, and Professor Chen Yugang of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University delivered opening speeches respectively. Vice President Li Shanmin introduced the development of Sun Yat-sen University in recent years and the future development plan of the university, and emphasized that big data and artificial intelligence would have a significant impact on the development of FinTech. He hoped that this conference would play a role in building a bridge between academia and industry to jointly promote the development of FinTech.  

Professor Chen Yugang introduced the achievements of the School of Business and the development of the Department of Finance and Investment in recent years, and expressed his expectations for the development of big data, artificial intelligence and FinTech conference.

Professor Yu Lean of Beijing University of Chemical Technology - winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Youth Scholars, winner of the first "National Special Support Program for High-level Personnel Recruitment" (the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the CPC), Distinguished Professor of the "Hundred-Talent Program" (the Chinese Academy of Sciences), Associate Jiang Fuwei of the School of Finance, Central University of Finance and Economics, Professor Chen Yugang of the Business of School, Sun Yat-sen University, Zhang Kaixing - founder and CEO of Golden Axe Group, Zhang Zhongyu - President assistant of simuwang.com, Li Jiang - Marketing Director of Guangzhou Value Go Network Technology Co., Ltd., Wang Jiyuan - Director of Big Data Department of Shenzhen Wugu Big Data Technology Co., Ltd. (Market Situation) and other experts in the industry were invited to give wonderful keynote speeches.

Later, the industry roundtable forum was hosted by Professor Chen Yugang, with Zhang Kaixing, Zhang Zhongyu, and Wang Jiyuan as the guests of the forum. With the theme of "Frontier Development and Application of FinTech", Wonderful discussions were conducted on the future application of FinTech, whether artificial intelligence could eventually replace humans and opportunities and challenges of talent development, etc.

Finally, Professor Chen Yugang delivered a closing speech. He once again expressed his gratitude to the guests and friends who came to this conference and expressed full confidence in the prosperity of the FinTech industry.
