Our School Held the Sun Yat-sen University International Youth Scholars Shenzhen Forum - School of Business Sub-forum

On the morning of December 28, our school participated in the 9th International Youth Scholars Forum and the 2019 Sun Yat-sen University International Youth Scholars Shenzhen Forum held by Sun Yat-sen University in Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center.

Wang Fan - Dean, Xie Manhua - Secretary of the Party Committee, Professor Fu Hui, Professor Xia Li - Academic Director, Associate Professor Wei Lijian - Director of the Big Data Center, Associate Professor Liang Jianping, Associate Professor Zhang Yilin, Assistant Professor Jie Yun - Director of the Chen Ruiqiu Asia-Pacific Case Development and Research Center, and 9 youth scholars from top business schools at home and abroad participated in the sub-forum of the School of Business.

Dean Wang Fan first led everyone to visit the advanced and complete research and teaching facilities of the School of Business. Afterwards, Dean Wang gave a speech at the sub-forum and extended a warm welcome to the youth scholars on behalf of the school. He introduced the discipline construction status and regional advantages, innovation advantages and cultural advantages of the School of Business. He emphasized three features of the School of Business for introducing talents: First is career, which allows "a big fish in a big pond"; Second is platform, which provides a high starting point for talent development; Third is win-win, which allows talents to grow with the School of Business and realize their own value.

At the forum, 9 youth scholars shared their academic research results, and the participating faculties made on-site comments and asked questions and exchanged ideas on the future academic development path planning of youth scholars.

Assistant Professor Jie Yun had a pleasant exchange with youth scholars. Based on his own experience, he answered questions for youth scholars and gave them a clearer and more intuitive understanding of the resource conditions, talent needs and career development of the School of Business.

The youth scholars participating in the forum expressed that they not only had a more comprehensive and detailed understanding of the School of Business, but also had the opportunity to communicate and discuss with other scholars. They were greatly inspired and benefited a lot.
