Congratulations to Professor Li Zhongfei of Our School for the Approval of Major Project of the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2019
Recently, the National Natural Science Foundation of China issued a notice for the approval of major projects of the Department of Management Science, National Natural Science Foundation of China in 2019. "The Research on Micro Big Data Measurement Modeling" (71991474), led by Professor Li Zhongfei of our school, won the project funding with the amount of 2.58 million yuan.
Combining cutting-edge research methods such as machine learning, this project explores the measurement modeling theories of different types of micro big data, including causal effect identification under the multi-source fusion of micro big data, and the estimation and inference of heterogeneity processing effect model based on micro big data under non-random experimental conditions, quantile processing effect model, marginal processing effect model and other models that characterize heterogeneity policy effect. In theory, data-driven methods such as machine learning are used to estimate the sample values of the propensity scores of processing variables, combined with the identification formulas of causal effect parameters such as average processing effect, quantile processing effect, etc., construct the causal effect estimator, and use dual machine learning technology to prove the large sample properties of causal effect estimator, thus, to establish the measurement theory of estimation and inference of causal effect of the micro big data processing variables. In application, based on the micro big data measurement modeling theory and machine learning methods, the project explores the application of measurement evaluation for China's specific policy implementation and individual decision-making effects, and provide scientific advice for government policy-making and individual decision-making.
