The Business School Holds "School Development Seminar" to Convey the Spirit of the University's Work Conference in Autumn 2019
On September 25, the Business School held "School Development Seminar" to convey the spirit of the university's work conference in Autumn and the recent work arrangement of the university's party committee. The seminar was presided over by Dean Wang Fan, and the leadership team and faculty members of the school attended.
At the meeting, Dean Wang Fan conveyed the spirit of theme report "Adhere to The Directions of 'Three Orientation', Improve the Level of 'Three Construction', and Accelerate the Construction of World-class University" by President Luo June. Dean Wang Fan said that in the past few years, the school has made historic progress in major and key national scientific research projects, but at the same time it is also facing new challenges. He elaborated the development direction of the school's "Three Major Construction" from three aspects including "The 14th Five-Year Plan”, platform building and team organization.
Xie Manhua - secretary of party committee conveyed the spirit of report titled "To Fulfill The Original Mission, Promote Reform and Development, And Comprehensively Implement the Fundamental Tasks of Integrating Moral Cultivation into Education" by secretary Chen Chunsheng of university, and the spirit of theme report titled "Stick To The Original Mission, Hold The Awe and Respect, Uphold The Righteousness, and Undertake The Mission" by Lin Dongwei - deputy secretary of party committee and secretary of commission of the university, and mobilized the discipline education learning month activities. She emphasized that the school will resolutely implement the university's requirements for further strengthening the management of scientific research funds, and hoped that all faculty and staff would attach great importance to the management of the funds, take it seriously, and actively carry out self-inspection and self-correction to ensure that scientific research is carried out in a healthy and orderly manner.
At noon, the faculty and staff of the school divided into six groups for group discussion, learned the spirit of the university's work conference in Autumn, discussed how to focus on the research direction of national major needs and how to optimize the resource allocation model for the school, as well as how to build the school's overall brand, and put forward a series of constructive opinions and suggestions.
Through the seminar, the faculty and staff of the school reached a broad consensus on the university's overall strategic planning, which strengthened their confidence in development. All faculty members of the school will further study the spirit of the university's work conference in Autumn 2019, further undertake new responsibilities and make new achievements, and effectively promote the university's and school's various work to a new level!
