Our School Reaches Cooperation Intention of Scientific Research with Macquarie University, Australia
On the morning of April 15th, Professor Lorne Cummings - associate dean, and Professor Philomena Leung of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Macquarie University, Australia, visited our school to discuss the cooperation on research between the two schools. Professor Li Guangzhong - associate dean of our school, met with the guests.

Li Guangzhong - associate dean, extended a warm welcome to Professor Lorne Cummings - associate dean and Professor Philomena Leung of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Macquarie University, and briefly introduced the basic situation of scientific research, school mission and discipline setting of our school. He pointed out that the Business School, Sun Yat-sen University is focusing on the construction of first-class disciplines, which has achieved remarkable results, hoping to further expand the cooperation of scientific research with foreign high-level business schools on this basis, build an international research cooperation platform, and promote the internationalization development in talents cultivation, research, faculty construction and other aspects, to achieve mutual benefits and win-win for both sides.
Professor Lorne Cummings - associate dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Macquarie University, introduced the general situation of Macquarie University, the research advantages of the business school and the internationalization construction, etc. He said that the Business School, Sun Yat-sen University is one of their preferred partners in China, and he’s looking forward to the substantive research cooperation between the two sides to complement each other in research.
The two sides exchanged views on areas where cooperation is possible, cutting-edge research and ways of cooperation, discussed the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and reached important consensus on the implementation and promotion of research cooperation.
