President Luo Jun and His Entourage Comes To Our School to Carry Out Special Work Investigation
On the morning of September 4th, President Luo Jun and his entourage came to our school to investigate the "Three Major Constructions" and student work, accompanied by Yu Minbin - deputy secretary of the CPC Party Committee, and the principals of functional departments of the university. Wang Fan - dean, Xie Manhua - secretary of the CPC Party Committee, Liu Jingyan - associate dean, Zheng Guojian - associate dean, Yu Liren and Zhou Jing - deputy secretaries of the CPC Party Committee of our school, and some faculty representatives participated in the investigation meeting presided over by Yu Minbin - deputy secretary.

Wang Fan - dean of our school, first reported on the related work of "Three Major Constructions" and talent cultivation of the school. He introduced the achievements of the school since 2016 in discipline construction, research projects, journal papers, talent cultivation, management optimization and other aspects, as well as the existing deficiencies and improvement measures. Dean Wang Fan said that in recent years, in terms of "Three Major Constructions", the school has actively participated in large projects based on national major strategic needs, built large platforms and teams. At the same time, the school has also strengthened the team organization and capacity construction, and promoted development with party building. In terms of undergraduate talent cultivation, the school has adhered to the ideological, value and academic guidance, educated students with all necessary parties involved, whole-course and all-round, and has improved the overall strength continuously.
Later, the leaders and faculties of the school who participated in the investigation meeting made speeches respectively and exchanged views on research management, talent cultivation, party building, ideological and political construction and other issues around "Three Major Constructions". The atmosphere was lively. The heads of the functional departments of the university responded to the questions in their responsible areas.
Finally, President Luo Jun made an importance speech on the investigation. He first affirmed the achievements of the Management School in responding to the university's call, keeping pace with the university and other aspects of work, and in particular, he commended the Business Administration discipline of Business School for achieving the A+ discipline. He pointed out that he hoped the school would not stop at the current achievements, but keep going "from ordinary to first-class, from good to great, from the forefront to the leading place". And the future strategic planning of the Business School should be an important starting point for realizing these "three transformation". President Luo Jun emphasized that the school should strengthen the party building and adhere to the correct ideological guidance; should form its own characteristics and find its own positioning and advantages; should return to academics, and produce ideas, theories and schools; should return to education, with the best people to cultivate better people, and make upmost efforts to education people. Finally, President Luo Jun put forward higher requirements and expectations for the Business School, and sent the greetings of Teachers' Day to the faculties of Business School.
