Business School Delegation Visits European International Finance Organizations - To Build an International Stage for Research and Cooperation
Recently, a delegation of Business School, including distinguished professor Dr. Chen Yunxian, Wang Fan - dean, Li Guangzhong - associate dean and Wei Lijian - associate professor of our school, went to Europe to conduct academic research and exchange activities on international finance corporation. The delegation visited the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the Bank for International Settlements (BIS), the G20, the Financial Stability Board, the Global Financial Risk Monitoring Center of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and other organizations.
The visit initiated the first contact and cooperation between the Business School and international finance organizations, strengthened the combination of academic research and practical application in the financial field of our school, helped our school to absorb various wisdom in the fields of global financial regulation and Fintech, and explore the development path of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
The delegation visited the OECD on August 5th and 6th. The both sides conveyed their intention of further cooperation in their communication, and it's expected to have follow-up visits of researchers and jointly hold international conferences and achieve cooperation in the field of scientific research.

On August 7th and 8th, the delegation of our school visited the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) in Basel, Switzerland. Strengthening the cooperation between our school and the international finance organizations will be helpful to the connection between the theoretical research and practical application of the disciplines of our school, and make the research of our school more practical.

In the following days, the delegation of our school went to the Global Financial Risk Monitoring Center of Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich for exchange and study.

During this visit, our school has taken an important step in establishing contacts and cooperation with international finance organizations. Our school will make full use of this opportunity to seek a higher and broader platform for scientific research and international cooperation, realize Fintech innovation, and strive to be the pioneer to help the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
