Subsequently, Professor Li Xuerou also gave a brief and wonderful sharing to the students at the scene. He said that the current achievements and status achieved by Business School couldn’t be separated from the correct leadership of Party Committee. He traced the history, evolution, and development of the school, and said that the development in each stage couldn’t be separated from the wise decisions made by the leaders of the university and the school to follow the needs of the times and have longer term view. Secondly, the success of a student was a comprehensive result with a long cycle, and there might be a big difference between the performance when the student entered the university and the performance when the student graduated, so everyone had to think what kind of talent he wanted to be, which was a question people needed to think about all the time.

The deputy general manager Yang Kejing of Guangdong Branch of Tianjian Certified Public Accountants read out the list of award-winning students. After the awarding ceremony, the 10 award-winning students had a symposium with the guests of Tianjian Certified Public Accountants. The students introduced their directions after graduation in turn, expressed their gratitude to Sun Yat-sen Business School, the teachers imparting knowledge and educating people, and Tianjian Certified Public Accountants, they expressed that “Tianjian Scholarship” was the affirmation and whip to the study career in university, they more felt their missions and responsibilities, and they would never let people down, continue to move forward, and try hard to be the backbone to create value for the society, the state, Sun Yat-sen University, and Business School in the future.

It was reported that “Tianjian Scholarship” was set up by Tianjian Certified Public Accountants and our school in 2012 with a total of RMB 50,000 rewarded to outstanding students each year, and its purpose was to stimulate students’ research on accounting, create a good style of study, and cultivate outstanding accountants.
