To open the Orientation, Prof. Lu, Director of the Office of International Affairs, expressed warm greetings to all new international students. Ms. Justine Xu from the Office of Curriculum and Degree Affairs and Ms. Lenore Xu from the MBA Administration Office gave an informative presentation on course requirements and suggestions for successful study while at SYSBS. Students then heard an introduction to campus services and life in Guangzhou.

SYSBS International Students Orientation for Fall 2014

Organized by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), the Orientation provided an opportunity for the new coming international students to learn more about SYSBS and SYSU and to take advanced standing exams, as well as to schedule classes and meet fellow classmates. The program also introduced students to city life in Guangzhou and to the activities of the Buddy Club for this semester. After the Orientation, the students posed for photos at the MBA Building, and then enjoyed a tour of the South Campus. The tour helped incoming students to become familiar with the facilities of that campus and of SYSU.

Now holding accreditation from AACSB, EQUID, and AMBA, SYSBS is becoming increasingly attractive to international students. This semester, SYSBS has seen a significant increase in the number of international students, confirming the ever-strengthening internationalization of SYSBS.
