The Signing Ceremony of Strategic Cooperation Between the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Our School and Signing Lecture of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants was Successfully Held
On December 20, the signing ceremony of Strategic Cooperation between the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Sun Yat-Sen Business School and signing lecture of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants hosted by the MBA Education Center of Our School was successfully held in Shanheng Hall. Finance Department Minister of China Southern Airlines Group Ms. Wu Yingxiang was the guest speaker of this event and brought the successful experience of "comprehensive budget management practices of China Southern Airlines Group ". Guests attending this meeting include: The Director of the CIMA China Affairs Mr. Xu Guodong, the Regional Director of CIMA South China Region Mr. Pan Jianbiao, the Education Development Manager of the CIMA South China Region Mr. Liang Yan, the Deputy Dean of our School Deng Guojian, the Teacher Liu Yunguo, and the Director of MBA Education Center Yao Hailin. The meeting was presided over by Teacher Liu Yunguo.
Before the ceremony began, the Deputy Dean of our School Zheng Guojian expressed his warm welcome to the China Southern Airlines Group and its party, affirmed the status of management accounting in the future corporate governance and the extraordinary significance of CIMA. Next, the Director of the CIMA China Affairs Mr. Xu Guodong made a speech and shared his own experience, and made a concise introduction for the prospects of CIMA development and how to transit from financial accounting to management accounting.
Subsequently, the Deputy Dean Zheng Guojian and the Director of CIMA China Affairs Mr. Xu Guodong completed the signing ceremony of "Strategic Cooperation between the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants and Sun Yat-Sen Business School" and exchanged gifts. This signing ceremony provided a long-term cooperation and exchange platform for all teachers and students, and maintained long-term strategic cooperative partnership with the CIMA China.
After the signing ceremony, the Finance Department Minister of the China Southern Airlines Group Ms. Wu Yingxiang made a speech on "comprehensive budget management practices of China Southern Airlines Group ". In the speech, Ms. Wu Yingxiang shared the practical experience of comprehensive budget management of the China Southern Airlines Group since 2010. She concluded that the implementation success of comprehensive budget management of the China Southern Airlines Group is no lack of favorable climatic, geographical and human conditions, and furthermore, China Southern Airlines Group adopted a series of projects on comprehensive budget management, whether it is always working for "Top-level design, organizational system, leading cadres, value creation, information system ", or properly uses "one three five" overall structure of "one budget calendar, three management models, five institutional systems". It was gratifying that the implementation of comprehensive budget management in the Group's interior has achieved initial results.
Students participated in the meeting enthusiastically asked questions on site focused on the keynote speeches, expressing the admiration for the successful implementation of comprehensive budget management of the China Southern Airlines Group. For "budget and computation", "how to conduct a comprehensive budget management" and other questions, Ms. Wu Yingxiang all gave the answer patiently and professionally. The speech told the application of management accounting in enterprise combining with the practice, opened up students and alumni's vision, so that everyone can deeply and intuitively understand the application value of management accounting.
