Over 30 deans from business schools gathered at Sun Yat-sen University to discuss development on independent knowledge system for management studies in China

On September 6, the First Frontier Academic Workshop on the Independent Knowledge System for Management Studiesin China was convened at the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University. Over 30 deans from leading Chinese universities’ schools of management and business, along with scholars from Management World, gathered to discuss the development of an independent knowledge system for management studiesin China. The event was academically supported by Management World.

 

The workshop has established a scholarly consensus that the development of an independent knowledge system formanagement studies in China must be guided by the Party's innovative theories, grounded in the practice of Chinese-style modernization, balance theoretical innovation and practical applicationand gradually form a theoretical system with international influence, through enhanced interdisciplinary integration, reform of evaluation and assessment mechanisms, and strengthened development ofplatforms andcarriers,  providing substantial intellectual support for addressing national strategic needs and advancing high-quality developmentof enterprises.
