"Face-to-face with Editor-in-chief and Reviewer" – “Quarterly Journal of Management” Paper Writing and Review Academic Exchange Meeting Was Successfully Held

On the morning of July 25, 2020, the "Face-to-face with Editor-in-chief and Reviewer" – “Quarterly Journal of Management” Paper Writing and Review Academic Exchange Meeting was held online.

Professor Zhang Yuli, the editor-in-chief of the "Quarterly Journal of Management" gave a speech. On behalf of the editorial board, he introduced the work progress in 2019, and gave a detailed introduction to the relevant data of submission status, readers’ evaluation survey and recognition status of the quarterly magazine. He pointed out that the "Quarterly Journal of Management" will continue to adhere to the quarterly value system and make greater contributions to the academic community.

Professor Li Haiyang - Editor-in-chief, announced the Best Reviewer of the "Quarterly Journal of Management" in 2019. He said that every article published by the quarterly embodied the great commitment and enthusiasm of the reviewers. As an academic community, the quarterly strives for broader cooperation and support, which is everyone's common cause.

In the interactive session between reviewers and authors, the meeting invited the reviewers and authors of the two published articles to chat freely about their experiences during the submission and review process, bringing the audience a lot of helpful information on how to respond to review comments and improve the paper quality.

The meeting entered the face-to-face session of Editor-in-chief/Field editors, and the atmosphere in the live broadcast room was very active. Editor-in-chief and field editors patiently answered the questions raised by the participating scholars in the live broadcast room, which strengthened the participating scholars’ understanding of “Quarterly Journal of Management” and its review process.

The meeting also invited Professor Zhang Yan from the Jesse H. Jones Graduate School of Business to give a speech on How to manage an academic career?

At the end of the meeting, Professor Zhang Yuli made a concluding speech, he emphasized that the quarterly will unswervingly follow the path of excellent journals, continue with no page charges and no expansion of pages, adhere to the idea of joint development with the author to run the journal, continue to contribute and play a leading role in the academic community building, and look forward to growing with everyone.
