The 2021 National Outstanding College Students Summer Camp of the School of Business Was Successfully Held

On July 14th, the 2021 National Outstanding College Students Summer Camp of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University kicked off on-line. On the morning of July 15th, the opening ceremony of the summer camp was held in the International Conference Hall of the School of Business, Sun Yat-Sen University.

Dean Wang Fan delivered a speech on behalf of the school. He welcomed the outstanding college campers from all over the country and congratulated everyone on being selected for the summer camp of the School of Business. He wished the students a fruitful summer camp.

With the theme of "Research with Mission and Story", Professor Wang Haizhong of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, the leader of the Marketing discipline of Sun Yat-sen University, shared many practical cases of the brand strategy principles of film blockbusters, the digital avatar marketing theory of the brand, the virtual influencer marketing, and stockholders' eagerness to serve the country.

Afterwards, Professor Xiao Jinghua of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University - Deputy Director of the Research Center for Information Economics and Policy of Sun Yat-sen University, gave a lecture on "Digital Technology-Driven Management Reform and Theoretical Exploration".

Associate Professor Zheng Ying of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, international high-end accounting talents of the Ministry of Finance, gave a lecture on "IFRS - Past, Present, and Future".

After the lecture, Professor Fu Hui - the host, made wonderful comments on the three academic reports, and wished the campers a fruitful summer camp and could participate in the discipline construction and development of the School of Business in various forms in the future.

On the afternoon of July 15th, three mentor meetings were held in different camps and disciplines, respectively hosted by Professor Wang Qian, Professor Chen Yugang, Professor Qin Xin and Associate Professor Cai Xiang.

On July 16th to 18th, comprehensive interviews were conducted for the academic degree summer camp and professional degree summer camp respectively. The faculties gave each camper an objective and responsible evaluation.

Looking forward to our meeting in the centennial campus of Sun Yat-sen University in September - the golden Autumn of 2022, and embarking on a new journey!
