Team Profile

The “Internet Management Innovation” research team relies on the Management Science and Engineering and Business Administration disciplines of Sun Yat-sen University, and the Research Center for Information Economics and Policy of Sun Yat-sen University. The three major disciplines are supported by academic leaders including Professor Xie Kang, Professor Wang Fan and Professor Liu Jingyan, with key members including full professors, associate professors and research fellows. Since 2012, the team has published more than 50 papers in MIS Quarterly, JMIS, Transportation Research Part B Methodological, IEEE Trans, Automatic Control, Automatica, Transportation Science, Tourism Management, EJOR, I&M, IJHM, IJEC, KBS, EJIS, Economic Research Journal, Management World, Journal of Management Sciences in China and other high-level journals at home and abroad, undertaken more than 30 projects including major projects of National Social Science Fund, projects of National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, projects of Big Data Science Center of National Science Fund, and key projects, general programs and youth programs of National Science Fund and National Social Science Fund, and won awards including 1 second prize of the National Teaching Achievement of the Ministry of Education, 1 second prize and 1 third prize of the Outstanding Achievement of Humanities and Social Sciences in Colleges and Universities of Ministry of Education, and 4 awards of first and second prizes of the Outstanding Achievement of Philosophy and Social Science of Guangdong Province.

The “Internet Management Innovation” research team undertakes the academic development and organization work of the national first-level academic groups - the Director Unit and Secretariat of China Information Economics Association (Guangzhou) and the Internet Innovation and Service Management Professional Committee of China Information Economics Association, undertakes the National Major Foundation Cultural Project - the organization and writing of the Information Economics branch of “Encyclopedia of China” (volume III), and is the leading team in the crossing-integrated innovation of China information economics and information management.
