2020 China Information Economics Annual Conference Was Successfully Held in the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University
From November 28th to 29th, 2020, the 32nd China Information Economics Annual Conference (hereinafter referred to as the Annual Conference) hosted by China Information Economics Society (hereinafter referred to as the Society) and organized by the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University was successfully held in Sun Yat-sen University.

At the opening ceremony on the 28th, Professor Xie Kang - Director of China Information Economics Society, and Professor Wang Fan - President Assistant of Sun Yat-sen University and Dean of the School of Business, delivered welcoming speeches on behalf of the society and the organizer.

Professor Lv Tingjie - Executive Vice Director of China Information Economics Society and Former Dean of the School of Economics and Management of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, delivered a keynote report on "Opportunities and Challenges in the 5G Era - From Artificial Intelligence Internet of Things (AIoT) to Computing-First Networking (CFN)". Professor Sun Ning from the School of Economics, Nanjing Audit University gave a high-level report entitled "Job Matching in Subsidies and Taxation".
Ren Zhiguang - Deputy Director of the Third Division of the Management Science Department of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, introduced the reform of science fund and management of discipline funding to the participating experts.

Professor Wu Xiaobo - Director of Social Science Department of Zhejiang University, delivered a report on the "Paradigm Shift of Enterprise Innovation Driven by Big Data" to the participating faculties and students. Professor Wang Fan - Dean of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, delivered a report entitled "Financial Service Innovation and Supervision under Block Chain".
On the afternoon of the 28th, sub-forum reports were carried out in 7 sub-venues respectively on the themes of information economy and the mechanism design, digital technology and financial technology, digital healthcare and smart care for the elderly, digital economy and data governance, digital technology and management innovation, e-commerce and social networks, and interaction innovation between enterprises and users driven by big data.
On the morning of the 29th, the annual conference was presided over by Professor Xiao Jinghua of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sun University and Deputy Secretary General of the Society. The annual conference firstly reviewed the amendment of the Society's constitution, and then announced the list of members of the fourth academic committee of the Society.
Then, the award ceremony and award-winning report of the 2020 China Information Economics Wujiapei Funding Program and Outstanding Achievements followed. Professor Xie Kang gave a speech on the awards of the China Information Economics Wujiapei Funding Program entitled "Facing People's Lives and Facing Major Needs". Professor Xiao Jinghua presented the donation certificate to Cao Changlin - Executive Dean and representative of the Guangzhou Greater Bay Area Modern Industry Development Research Institute, the donor of this funding program.
In the warm applause, Professor Wang Ruqu from Zhejiang University and Deputy Director of Academic Committee of China Information Economics Society, and Professor Lv Tingjie from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, presented the award certificate to the winners of the 2020 China Information Economics Wujiapei Funding Program - Professor Yu Ning from the Institute for Social and Economic Research, Nanjing Audit University and Professor Lu Xianghua from the School of Management, Fudan University. Professor Xie Kang and Professor Sun Ning presented the doctoral candidate award certificates to the winners of the 2020 China Information Economics Wujiapei Funding Program - Associate Professor Chen Bin from the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University and Professor Liu Dengpan from the School of Economics and Management,Tsinghua University.
Professor Yu Ning from the Institute for Social and Economic Research, Nanjing Audit University gave a report entitled "Substitutability and Complementarity as the Simple Understanding of Economics’ Basic Concepts", and Professor Lu Xianghua from the School of Management, Fudan University gave a report on research entitled "Encourage Consumer Voice in Technology-based Self- Service Retailing".
Professor Zuo Meiyun – Deputy Director of the Society (Renmin University of China), Professor Xiaozhi (Chongqing University) and Professor Xiong Li (Shanghai University) presented the outstanding achievement certificates of the 2020 China Information Economics to Assistant Professor Zhou Zhen from Tsinghua University, Professor Weng Xi from Peking University, Associate Professor Dong Feng from Tsinghua University, Assistant Professor Wu Zenan from Peking University, Research Fellow Sun Xiang from Wuhan University and Associate Professor Meng Dawen from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
Professor Peng Lifang - Deputy Director of the Society (Xiamen University), Professor Ye Qiongwei (Yunnan University of Finance and Economics), and Professor Yan Xiangbin (University of Science and Technology Beijing) presented the outstanding achievement certificates of the 2020 China Information Economics to Professor Liu Dengpan from Tsinghua University, Professor Niu Baozhuang from South China University of Technology, Professor Liu Hefu from University of Science and Technology China, Professor Wang Youwei from Fudan University, Associate Professor Dou Yifan from Fudan University and Assistant Professor Jiang Yang from Nanjing University.
Four representatives of the winners of the 2020 China Information Economics Outstanding Achievement Awards: Professor Niu Baozhuang from South China University of Technology, Professor Meng Dawen from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Assistant Professor Wu Zenan from Peking University and Assistant Professor Jiang Yang from Nanjing University gave reports on their achievements respectively.
The Best Papers of the 2020 Annual Conference were reviewed for three rounds. Professor Yu Jianyu and others from Southwestern University of Finance and Economics, Professor Peng Lifang and doctoral candidate Wang Jiawei from Xiamen University, Associate Professor Ma Yanbo and postgraduate Lin Fei from Shandong University of Finance and Economics, Professor Ye Qiongwei and postdoctoral student Zhang Qian from Yunnan University of Finance and Economics, and Professor Xiong Li and others from Shanghai University were awarded the Best Papers. Professor Xie Kang and Professor Lv Yanjie as the representatives of the five authors’ teams presented the certificates of the Best Papers of the 2020 Annual Conference. At the same time, they presented the certificates of Best Papers Reviewers of the 2020 Annual Conference to lecturer Li Gaoyong from Shandong University of Finance and Economics and Associate Professor Xu Heng from China University of Political Science and Law.
Afterwards, Associate Professor Wang Mingming - Secretary-general of the society, presented a commemorative certificate for the Organizer of the 2020 Academic Annual Conference to Professor Xiao Jinghua from the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University, the organizer.


On the afternoon of the 29th, the "Cross-over Forum on China's Digital Economy Innovation" co-hosted by the Youth Working Committee of the Society and the Special Committee of the Digital Economy Innovation Alliance was successfully held. Professor Xiao Jinghua - Director of the Special Committee of the Digital Economy Innovation Alliance, presented the letters of appointment for Chairman of China's Digital Economy Innovation Alliance to Professor Lv Yanjie from Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications and Liu Jiuru - Editor-in-chief of the Publishing House of Electronics Industry. At the same time, (sorted pinyin of surname) Cao Changlin - Executive Dean of the Guangzhou Greater Bay Area Modern Industry Development Research Institute, Luo Ruifa - Chairman of Shenzhen Genvict Technologies Co., Ltd. and Chairman of Shenzhen Intelligent Transportation Industry Promotion Association, Xiong Wei from the Huaxin Research Institute, Publishing House of Electronics Industry and Professor Zhang Yulin - Associate Dean of School of Economics and Management, Southeast University were appointed to be Deputy Director of the special committee and were presented certificates. Professor Xiao Jinghua said that she hoped this cross-over collaboration will effectively promote the implementation of the crossover integration of Industry-University-Research. Later, the signing ceremony between four crossover parties of the Digital Economy Innovation Alliance of China Information Economics Society was held at the conference.
In the report section of the crossover forum, researcher Cai Yuezhou - Director of the Digital Economy Research Office of Institute of Quantitative & Technological Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, gave a forum report entitled "Digital Economy Connotation Boundary and Scale Calculation". And then, Luo Ruifa - Chairman of Shenzhen Genvict Technologies Co., Ltd., gave a corporate perspective report entitled "New Kinetic Energy of Digital Transportation in the Context of New Infrastructure". Associate Professor Dou Yifan from Fudan University gave an online report entitled "Influencing Factors of Data Transactions: Evidence from Shanghai Data Exchange Center" to the guests.
Wang Xingwang - Director of Meicloud, Midea Group, gave a report entitled "Digital Transformation: Building New Competitive Advantages of Enterprises", and Professor Li Sanxi - Director of the Digital Economy Research Center, Renmin University, gave a report entitled "Digital Economy Competition, Consumer Information and Privacy" to the guests.
