Enterprise Revolution: From Management to Operation - The 10th Session of the “Pillars of a Great Power, China Reinvents Itself" Forum of the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University Ended Successfully

On December 29, 2019, the "Pillars of a Great Power, China Reinvents Itself" Forum by the School of Business, Sun Yat-sen University specially invited Doctor Song Zhiping - President of China Enterprise Reform And Development Society, President of China Association for Public Companies, President of World Cement Association, Chairman of China National Building Material Group and Chairman of China National Pharmaceutical Group, to give a speech on the theme "Enterprise Revolution: From Management to Operation".

In the afternoon of the lecture, accompanied by Vice President Li Shanmin, Doctor Song Zhiping visited the School History Museum and former residence of Chen Yinke. He highly recognized and praised the development and talent cultivation of Sun Yat-sen University. Professor Li Shanmin presented the appointment letter for Doctor Song Zhiping as keynote speaker and took a group photo.

In the lecture, Doctor Song Zhiping combined with his 40 years of management experience and talked about the theme of "operation is more important than management", and explained in detail how companies can achieve long-term growth from four aspects: business selection, effective innovation, pricing winning, and mechanism revolution.

Later, Doctor Song Zhiping gave detailed answers to the relevant questions raised by the students on the current reform of state-owned enterprises. He said that in the process of state-owned enterprises reform, it is possible to carry out "three new" reform attempts including employee stock ownership, management stock plans, and redistribution of excess profits. He suggested that young people focus on one thing and do it well in their whole lives, after choosing a direction and profession.
