Business School Won The Title of "Outstanding Unit in National Education Circles "
On September 5th, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and the Ministry of Education jointly issued The Decision on Commending Outstanding Unit in National Education Circles, National Model Teacher and Outstanding individuals in National education circles. Business School, Sun Yat-sen University was awarded the title of "Outstanding Unit in National Education Circles ".
Founded in 1985, Business School, Sun Yat-sen University is the earliest institution established in China for business administration education and research. Under the correct leadership of the university party committee and the joint efforts of the previous party and government leading groups and all faculties and students of the school, the school is making great strides towards the goal of building a world-class business school, focusing on the goal of talent cultivation is to nurture students who have both ability and moral integrity, able to cultivate charisma and eager to serve their country, committed to cultivate business management elites with international vision, good understanding of local practice of Chinese management, entrepreneurial innovation spirit and social responsibility, and cultivate a new era of socialism builders and successors with Chinese characteristics for national economic and social development.
The Business Administration discipline of Business School was selected into the list of “Double-First Class” Construction Discipline by the Ministry of Education in 2017 and tied for first place (A+) in the fourth round of national discipline evaluation, won the second prize in the “Best Discipline of China” by Shanghai Ranking in 2018. The school ranked the 69th in the world and the 3rd in Asia in the global MBA ranking by the Economist in 2018, with growing international influence which interprets the “China’s Influence”.
In April 2017, two young alumni of Business School, Wang Zi (left) and Mo Zihao (right), were selected in the list of Forbes 2017 "30 Under 30 Asia".
