Sun Yat-sen Business School Held EQUIS Accreditation Press Conference
On June 18, Sun Yat-sen Business School (SYSBS) held press conference of EQUIS Accreditation. Professor Yadong Luo, the International Dean of SYSBS, and Professor Wang Fan, the Associate Dean attended the press conference. Executive Dean Li Zhongfei presided over it.

Yadong Luo, the International Dean of SYSBS, announced the news that SYSBS had been awarded prestigious EQUIS Accreditation at the press conference. In the afternoon of June 14 (Brussels local time), the European Foundation for Management Development (EMFD) officially awarded the EQUIS Accreditation to SYSBS after deliberation and voting. Last year, SYSBS became the 161st accredited member of Association for MBAs (AMBA). Being awarded EQUIS Accreditation marked that SYSBS has gained double international accreditation. The International Dean Yadong Luo introduced EQUIS Accreditation system and illustrated the significance and influence of EQUIS Accreditation.
The Associate Dean Wang Fan introduced EQUIS Accreditation in details. According to him, SYSBS officially began accreditation work in 2009 and established a special International Accreditation Office. All the accreditation work was accomplished in less than one year, which made SYSBS one of the fastest Business Schools to obtain EQUIS Accreditation in China, even in the whole world.
During the question part, the International Dean Yadong Luo and the Executive Dean Li Zhongfei further illustrated the difficulties confronted in the process of obtaining EQUIS Accreditation and the experience gained from the work. They also talked about future development plan.
