Research Directions

1. Carry out academic research on the cutting-edge scientific issues in the major directions of digital economy, digital finance, securities and insurance, supply chain finance, pension finance, real estate finance, internet finance, financial technology and regulation technology, etc;

2. Carry out policy research on major practical issues of national strategy, such as supply-side structural reform, the Belt and Road, dealing with the aging and financial security, etc.

Team Profile

The “Financial Service Resource Allocation and Risk Management” research team has the key research base of humanities and social sciences of Guangdong Province - Financial Engineering and Risk Management Research Center, Sun Yat-sen University, and has the only innovation research group of Natural Science Fund of China in Guangdong Province for economic management discipline "financial innovation, resource allocation and risk management", members of which include 1 Chang Jiang Scholar, 3 National Distinguished Young Scholars, 1 Chang Jiang Yong Scholar, 1 National Outstanding Youth, 3 Zhu Jiang Scholar and 2 Zhu Jiang Yong Scholar. The “Financial Service Resource Allocation and Risk Management” research team has published more than 16 papers in Tiburg's top economics journals or UTD/FT top management journals, including EJ, JEBO, JFE, JFQA, MS, MSOM, OR, OS, POM, etc. and more than 30 papers in domestic top journals, including Social Science in China, Economic Research Journal, Management World, Journal of Management Sciences in China, China Economic Quarterly, etc., won more than 23 first and second prizes of provincial-level awards, received the central and provincial-level leaders' instructions for more than 16 times, and won at least 15 key projects, including projects of Innovation Research Group of Natural Science Fund of China, projects of Distinguished Young Scholars, key projects, major projects of National Social Science Fund, major projects of the Ministry of Education, and joint fund projects of Natural Science Fund of China and Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong, etc.
