ZHANG Cai Wen is an associate professor of management science at the Business School, Sun Yat-sen University, Guangzhou, China. He received his PhD from the National University of Singapore, specializing in quality engineering and management. Prior to joining Sun Yat-sen Business School, Dr. Zhang worked five years as a statistical consultant for the Hitachi Global Storage Technologies (Singapore). He has published papers in international peer-reviewed journals including IIE Transactions, European Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Production Research, International Journal of Production Economics, Reliability Engineering and System Safety, IEEE Transactions on Power Delivery, Quality and Reliability Engineering International, Advances in Engineering Software, etc. His current research interests include quality management, statistical quality control, reliability, and operations management.
