Dr. Juanyi (Lorie) Chen, postdoctoral fellow at School of Business, Sun Yat-Sen University. She received her PhD from Jilin University in 2019, and visiting scholar supervised by Professor Garry Bruton from Texas Christian University in USA. Her research interests covers entrepreneurship, family business, and corporate governance. Her work has appeared in Journal of Business Venturing, Global Strategy Journal, Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, among other academic outlets. Two of her coauthored articles concerning entrepreneurship and poverty alleviation, China as an aspiration economy were selected as the ESI Highly Cited Papers by Clarivate in 2021. She is currently the media editor of Asia Pacific Journal of Management since 2022. She also serves as Ad Hoc Reviewers of Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management Studies, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, Journal of Business Research, International Small Business Journal, Journal of International Management, among other academic outlets.
