Team Profile

The “Accounting Governance System Innovation” research team relies on the "Modern Accounting and Finance Research Center, Sun Yat-sen University" - the key research base of humanities and social sciences in colleges and universities in Guangdong Province, bases on the editing and publication of CJAR (China Journal of Accounting Research), the organization of annual international academic conferences and the establishment of academic exchange platform for youth scholars' workshops.

The “Accounting Governance System Innovation” research team has great research basis, conditions and potential. The team members include 1 Outstanding Teacher of the Baogang Education Fund of the Ministry of Education, 2 New Century Talents of the Ministry of Education, 2 Talents of Training Project of Guangdong Province, 1 Excellent Teacher of South Guangdong Province, 1 person of the "Locomotive" Medal of the Ministry of Railways, 4 persons of "Accounting Master Training Project" of the Ministry of Finance, and 1 person of "Special Support Program for National Accounting Leader Scholar Training Project".

From 2014 to 2018, members of the “Accounting Governance System Innovation” research team have presided over 73 research projects. Among them, there are 33 national and ministerial-level projects, 1 major project of Natural Science Fund of China, 1 key project of Natural Science Fund of China, 1 major project of National Social Science Fund, and 1 major special project of National Social Science Fund. More than 60 high-quality papers in Chinese and English were published in Economic Research Journal, Management World, Accounting Research, Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Journal of Corporate Finance, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Business Finance & Accounting and other top journals at home and abroad, which had won 26 awards including the Scientific Research Outstanding Achievement Award of Colleges and Universities of the Ministry of Education and Outstanding Achievement Award of Philosophy and Social Science of Guangdong Province, etc.
