Aegean Leung is an assistant professor of entrepreneurship and human resource
managements at the Peter B. Gustavson School of Business, University of Victoria.
Dr. Leung’s research focuses on Entrepreneurial teams, Human Resource Management
in New Ventures, EntrepreneurVenture Fit (Individual identity/values and venture model),
Growth Challenges in Entrepreneurial and Social Enterprises, Female Entrepreneurship,
Community Enterprises and Social Change. In addition, Aegean has co-authored the book-The use of networks in human resource acquisition in entrepreneurial firms:
Multiple fit considerations. In Entrepreneurial Teams and New Business Creation (2009)
(Edward Elgar Publishing). She is also the reviewer of International Entrepreneurship and
Management Journal,Research Forum Organizer for Center for Asia Pacific Initiatives,
University of Victoria on Female Entrepreneurship and Social Change, Japan, Canada and Beyond,
