On October 15, 2012, exciting news came from the Financial Times (FT) that Sun Yat-Sen Business School EMBA programme ranked 11th in the 2012 Financial Times Global Executive MBA Ranking.

The ranking is based on a survey of business schools and alumni who graduated in 2009, rated by 16 criteria ranging from career progression and school diversity to idea generation. SYSBS EMBA occupies good positions in the aforementioned criteria, which indicates that SYSBS EMBA students and alumni have made great efforts and positive impacts on South China economics and area development.

It is a full recognition of SYSBS EMBA programme as a new entrant for reaching 58th in the FT Master in Management ranking and 11th in the FT Executive MBA ranking. However, at the same time, SYSBS realizes that there are still some aspects to improve, including internationalization and faculty research, etc.

In China, EMBA is the most popular diploma for managers and executives, which is reflected in the ranking. There are seven Chinese business schools’ EMBA programmes in the top 100 of the ranking.
